Victory at Last Launched and Now on Sale

The highly anticipated book by Eunice Adeleke was finally launched on the 1st March 2012, at the Franco Namibian Cultural Center in Windhoek. The book launch was success with members of the Nigerian High Commission in attendance, including the High Commissioner himself. The press also attended the event.

A few speeches were read, particularly a speech by Mr. Werner Thaniseb, the Director of the National Theatre of Namibia, who helped the author in the editing process. Although he could not physically be at the launch, his representative
 Mr. Molapong, also from the NTN, read his speech on 
his behalf.

A representative from the University of Namibia library also gave a brief speech to highlight the importance in cultivating the habit of reading.

The author had a book reading, where she read a beautiful poem from the newly published book, giving the guests a taste of what to expect in the book.

The book was sold and autographed at the end of the official events.

Light snacks and drinks were served to the guests.

"Victory At Last" in the Pipeline

Eunice Adeleke, published author and poet has recently embarked on a project: the publishing and printing of her own book entitled "Victory At Last".

This book comprises of 6 short stories and a collection of related poems that deal with the issue of the violation of human and women rights. The setting takes place in various African cities.

The author wrote this script at the tender age of 14, but due to the lack of funds, was never able to publish. But with the dawn of a new year came renewal ...

Poems Published in Book "We Must Choose Life"

Three of published author and poet's writings were once again published in a book enititled "We Must Choose Life". The three books are "The Struggle", "The Strife" and "A Show of Determination".

The book consists of writings by Namibian women on culture, violence, HIV and Aids.

"Endurance Rewarded" Published in Local Book

"Endurance Rewarded" a short story, was published in a book entitled "Between Yesterday and Tomorrow" by the Women Leadership Center, Namibia. The book examines the status of women's human rights in Namibia today through the lens of the everyday lived realities.
